Welcome to my website, which is all about my musical compositions and work with choirs – in particular, the choir of St David’s Church, Exeter (UK), the Exeter Chamber Choir and the Community Choir Ide Aloud. Also featured are the Langford Singers, a group specially convened for recording purposes.

My music ranges from the serious – e.g. my 2018 Requiem – to the light-hearted – e.g. this song in celebration of our village community shop.

I have enjoyed a long collaboration with Exeter poet and writer Richard Skinner, which began with our Christmas musical Bethlehem! (2009) and followed up a few years later with six settings of poems based on the writings of the 14th century mystic Julian of Norwich – In the Stillness (2012) – and a set of short Communion anthems Bread is Broken (2013).

Over the past few years, I have compiled a setting of the liturgy for Holy Communion – Mass of St David – which is used seasonally at St David’s Church, Exeter.

Finally, here’s a prayer for peace, set to a Ukrainian melody, four Christmas carols and, most recently, my John Donne Triptych sung by Exeter Chamber Choir.
